  • Kawempe Muslim 12-0 Moroto High
Record champions Kawempe Muslim obliterated Moroto High School in a 12-0 victory to pick a spot in the knockout stage. This was the fifth victory of Kawempe Muslim who had already beaten Panyadoli Secondary School, Buhobe Secondary School and Sheema Girls School. However, they concluded the group-stage business with a scoring party against debutante Moroto High. Krusoom Namutebi pulled down the curtains to open the party in the 13th minute before Hadijah Nandago doubled the lead a minute later. In the 25th minute, Shadia Nabirye found the back of the net and two minutes later Nandago completed a brace to get the rhythm going and moving steadily. Seven minutes to half time, Nandago completed a hat trick to show the world how clinical she can be in front of goal. Right after recess, the FUFA Super Women Super League, most valuable player (MVP) and top scorer, Shakira Nyinagahirwa also placed her name on the scoring sheet. Nabukenya, Nyinagahirwa, Nandago and Nabirye later scored each to complete a dozen of goals. The maximum points take Kawempe to the top of Group H with 15 points and 12 goals. Kawempe lost to St Noa Girls 1-0 in the finals of last year. The Valley Warriors seek to reclaim their title. Kawempe’s Group Stage Results
