UCU Canons climaxed the 2024 National Basketball League regular season with a victory against Ndejje Angels.

UCU Canons secured a 73-49 victory against Ndejje Angels in the ongoing NBL at YMCA Court at Wandegeya on Sunday.

Ndejje Angels came into the game knowing their fate of relegation into the second tier alongside Power.

Ndejje Angels kicked off the game on a great note creating a seven-point (19-12) lead after the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Mukono-based side stepped up creating a four-point (33-29) lead going into the long break.

The Canons limited Ndejje Angels to nine points thus creating a 17-point lead going into the last block of the game.

Emmanuel Elungat's driving layup concluded the game to give the Canons a 24-point victory.

Norbert Okidi (14), Jimmy Otim (12) and Lwabaga Ibanda (10) scored double digits for UCU Canons.

For Ndejje Angels scoring chart was led by Bolton Rujumba (12), Cikom Monybai (11) and Haron Alinaitwe (10).
