FUFA Super 8 – Results

Select Team completed the four-team puzzle of the semi-finals in this year’s FUFA Super 8 tournament.

Select Team secured a 1-0 victory against SC Villa in the quarterfinal second leg encounter of the 2024 FUFA Super 8 at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Patrick Jonah Kakande nearly gave SC Villa in the third minute but Amis Bwangani was quick to clear the ball off the line.

In the 27th minute, Derrick Ochan made a full stretch save to palm away James Begisa’s delivery as SC Villa knocked on the door.

Eight minutes into the second half, Samuel Kato finally broke the deadlock with a powerful header off Hakim Mutebi’s corner kick.

The semi-final fixture now known as Select Team will take on Vipers while holders BUL will lock horns with Kitara.

In the classification games, NEC will play against SC Villa while KCCA will take on Maroons as the tournament continues.
