NEC will be aiming to maintain their perfect run in the Uganda Premier League as we get into matchday four of the 2024-25 campaign.

NEC is set to lock horns with Express in the highly anticipated encounter at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, on Thursday.

NEC has kicked off with three straight victories into the campaign, putting them in a great position to contend for the title.

NEC head Hussein Mbalangu opened the lid, revealing that it's not by mistake that they are in such a position.

"It's not by mistake that we (NEC) are in this position. We had a great pre-season but also recruited quite well," Mbalangu said.

"Express is a good team, but we are determined to play against them. So, we have to multiply our effort if we are to pick a positive result," he added.

On the other hand, Express has managed to collect four points in three games of the season.

Having a balanced head-to-head, the Red Eagles will feel motivated going into the highly anticipated game.
