• NEC vs Police - 7 pm

NEC is set to take on Police in the Uganda Premier League encounter at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday evening.

However, NEC comes into this after falling 1-0 to league newcomers Lugazi in the previous matchday.

NEC head coach Hussein Mbalangu has urged his players to put the loss behind them and ensure a comeback as they take on the Cops.

"The league is a marathon and we shall bounce back. Of course, we mourned that day after the loss but we have since moved on and focus is now on the Police game," he said.

A victory for the hosts takes back NEC to the log summit who will be two points ahead of the Kasasiro Boys.

In the previous season, NEC managed to eliminate Police from the Uganda Cup as it made it all the way to the finals of the prestigious tournament.
