Uganda Premier League - Results

• Kitara 4-0 UPDF

Kitara secured a well-deserved 4-0 victory against UPDF in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Royals Park, Buteme on Friday evening.

The victory ended the  Royals' winless run of seven goals with six losses and a loss.

Fred Amaku broke the deadlock in the 14th minute after converting from the 12-yard mark.

Kabon Living doubled Kitara's double with a brilliant strike past goalkeeper Richard Anyama into the top right corner after 23 minutes.

Ten minutes later, UPDF had a chance to pull back one but Chrispas Kusiima saved Benard Muwanga's penalty.

At the stroke of the first half, Kabon scored Kitara's third as the hosts further stretched their lead.

Three minutes into the second half, George Senkaba joined the party with the hosts' fourth as Kitara further imposed their presence in the game.

The victory guided Kitara to the 14th position with seven points while UPDF lie eighth with 12 points after nine games.
