Uganda Cranes defender Elio Capradossi has joined Serie B outfit, AC Cittadella.

The highly rated defender joins the Italian club on a short-term deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.

Capradossi joins the Serie B side after running down his contract with AC Lecco.

Capradossi missed the final games of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers' campaign due to a lack of playing time at the club level.

So the development is positive since the calm and composed defender will be fully fit ahead of the upcoming Uganda Cranes' engagements.

Capradossi has played all his club career in Italy featuring for clubs like Roma, Spezia, Bari, Spezia, SPAL, Lecco and Cagliari.

The 28-year-old defender has also represented Italy up to the U21 level.
