2025 Heroes Cup | Semifinal Results

• AS Kigali 0-2 APR FC
• Police FC 1-1 Rayon Sports (3-1 on penalties)

Uganda Cranes forward Denis Omedi scored on his debut as APR FC secured a 2-0 victory over AS Kigali in the semifinals of the 2025 Heroes Cup.

Omedi and Niyibizi Ramadhan found the net to give APR the bragging rights and a spot in the finals.

Despite intense pressure from APR, the first half ended in a goalless stalemate. However, the breakthrough came in the 57th minute when Omedi confidently converted a penalty, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Substitute Niyibizi Ramadhan sealed the win with a stunning free-kick, curling the ball into the top corner and leaving the keeper helpless.

In the other semifinal, Police FC held Rayon Sports to a 1-1 draw before triumphing 3-1 in a penalty shootout to book their place in the final.

The stage is now set for the final, with APR FC taking on Police FC in a battle for the 2025 Heroes Cup.
