At the end of the 45 minutes, Ethiopia and Uganda fire blanks in the Women's Africa Cup of Nations at Abeba Bekila Stadium on Wednesday.

Sheryl Botes made a big change as Daisy Nakaziro replaced Ruth Aturo in between the sticks.

Ethiopia started on the front foot in the opening minutes but Crested Cranes' backline stood strong and tall.

Uganda got their first chance in the 33rd minute through Fazila Ikwaput but his effort went wide of the target.

Daisy Nakaziro made a crucial save to palm away Ethiopia's set piece on the edge of the box as the hosts kept knocking on the door.
