- Police vs Kitara – 4 PM
- NEC vs Express – 7 PM
Express captain Emmanuel Wasswa has backed the Red Eagles to improve their performance when they face NEC in the Uganda Premier League at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Thursday.
Express has struggled in recent games, going winless in their last two matches after suffering defeats against Police and Lugazi in a tough second round.
They have lost four of their last five games, raising concerns over their form.
"We have not performed well in recent matches, but we are a big club, and we need to show that against NEC," Wasswa stated.
"Like the captain said, we cannot afford to lose this game. I call upon all our fans to show up and give us the support we need," he added.
Meanwhile, NEC is equally desperate for a win, as they are in a tight race with Vipers, who currently hold a five-point advantage.
In the first leg, Express secured a 2-1 victory, with Geoffrey Gagganga and Ronald Andabati scoring quick goals within the first 10 minutes.
