FUFA has confirmed that the national finals for the 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League season will take place at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The regional Champions will be contending for the national title after a new format of including regions was introduced.

Since its inception in 2015, the league only catered for teams in the top division and it was mandatory for a club playing in the Uganda Premier League to have a team in the FUFA Juniors League.

However, the FUFA Executive Committee spread the League across the country and now five of the eight FUFA regions are playing in the event.

The five regions had FUFA Junior Leagues include Buganda (Vipers Junior Team), Kampala (Prosper Soccer Academy), Kitara (Friend of Soccer FC), Western (Mbarara Sports Academy) and Eastern (BUL Junior Team).

According to a statement on the Federation's website; "The aforementioned teams will play in a round-robin format between 31st July – 4th August 2023 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

"The team with the most points will emerge as Champions."
