Crested Cranes is the senior women football team in Uganda managed and controlled by FUFA. Crested Cranes is 161st in the current FIFA Rankings. The team captain is Ruth Aturo who plies her trade with Al Shabab FC in the Saudi Pro League. The assistant captains are Hasifah Nassuna, Daisy Nakaziro and Fauzia Najjemba
