KCCA FC missed a chance to close the gap on Vipers after being held to a goalless draw by Arua Hill at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Despite being dominant in possession, KCCA did not create any clear-cut chances to open up a resilient Arua Hill defence anchored by Rashid Toha.

Sadat Anaku and Brian Aheebwa had a couple of chances for the hosts but were never troubling.

The best chance of the first half fell to Rashid Kawawa, with the Kongoro forward's effort rattling the crossbar.

In the second half, substitutes Davis Kasirye and Charles Lwanga came close for the Kasasiro. Kasirye headed over from close range while Lwanga had a few half chances.

Alfred Leku had the best chance for Arua Hill in the second half but shot just wide after turning his marker.

KCCA has won just once in the last five games and stays second with 46 points, six behind Vipers who visit URA on Tuesday at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.
