Proline Football Club has been relegated to the 3rd tier of Uganda's football pyramid, the Regional League.

The fate of the former Uganda Premier League outfit was confirmed on the final day of the 2021-22 Fufa Big League.

Going into the final day of the season, Proline's fate was out of their hands, and needed one of the two results from the other final day fixtures to play in their fovour.

Proline's survival depended on either Luwero United or Ndejje University losing their games against Blacks Power and Kitara, but none went in their favour.

Ndejje whipped Kitara 5-0 while Luwero United lost 2-1 Blacks Power but maintained a superior goal difference. Luwero finished with -4 compared to Proline’s -7.

Meanwhile, Maroons and Kyetume return to the top flight and are joined by Blacks Power for the 2022-23 season.
