The Uganda Netball national team She Cranes will face top teams in New Zealand and nemesis Trinidad and Tobago in pool D of the upcoming 2023 Netball World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa. Uganda together with Australia, England, Jamaica, New Zealand, and South Africa qualified for the World Cup due to their world ranking. The four countries carrying the hopes of Africa are South Africa, Malawi, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. Eleven-time world champion Australia is in pool A with Tonga, Zimbabwe, and Fiji. Pool B is made up of England, Malawi, Scotland, and Barbados and the last group will see New Zealand face off against Uganda, Singapore, and Trinidad & Tobago. The 2023 Netball World Cup will take place in Cape Town from 28 July – 6 August 2023, all 60 matches will be broadcast by both SuperSport and SABC.
