SC Villa seeks to keep glued at the summit chasing maximum points as they face Arua Hill SC in the Uganda Premier League at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Magera has distanced from the title talk and he stresses the need to take a game at a go.

“Yes, it’s normal to talk about the title because every team wants to win but it can easily cause unnecessary pressure,” he said.

“We are taking a game at a time. It’s a marathon and each lap has much to say while going to the next one. So we are patient but attentive,” he added.

Mageera highlighted the physicality of Arua Hill SC hence staging a tight challenge.

“Arua Hill SC are a very physical team. We have prepared well and we have a plan to break them down so that we register a good result.

“The boys have greatly improved and am happy but we have less time to celebrate but rather keep the fight alive,” he concluded.

In the first leg, SC Villa beat the Arua-based side thanks to Charles Bbaale’s penalty.

SC Villa have been in a red-hot form registering six straight wins.

Arua Hill SC are eighth with 27 points while SC Villa lead the log with 43 points.

Following the departure of Morley Byekwaso, KCCA confirmed that Kaddu Badru Mukasa will be in charge as they visit URA FC.

After three draws in a row, KCCA will have to stage their best show so that they return to winning ways as they seek to close up the gap to leaders SC Villa.

It will be a lunchtime kickoff as the two sides will lock horns at Mehta Stadium, Lugazi today.

Kaddu revealed that they are fully focused on the league since it’s the only title on their radar after being ejected from the Uganda Cup.

“We are fully focused on the Uganda Premier League as it is the only competition we are left to fight for this season,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.

“We have prepared well and the boys have responded positively. We are ready to put up a fight against our opponents so that we can register maximum points,” he added.

“As a club we have dreams to chase and we can not allow to throw away our season fully. Yes, we are facing a good opponent but we are ready to battle it out.”

“We have a few injuries (Haruna Lukwago and Brian Majwega) but we have a large pool of players to fill the void,” he concluded.

On the other hand, URA will miss the services of lanky midfielder Joshua Lubwama who is on suspension.
