Vipers JT registered a 6-0 victory against Friends of Soccer in the one sided encounter in the FUFA Juniors League played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Omar Muzungu Diarra, and Yusuf Ssempeja (brace) were on target to give Prosper Soccer Academy a well-deserved lead in the opening game of the championship.

Right from the onset, Prosper Soccer Academy were the more comfortable and dangerous side of the two.

Fourteen minutes into the duel, Muzungu found the back of the net to give Prosper the well-deserved lead.

A minute later Yusuf Sempijja doubled the lead to double the lead in a blink of an eye. It was a shocker for the Friends of Soccer who were still organising themselves.

In the 72nd minute, Sempijja stepped up on the occasion and smartly slotted the ball to the far post to make it three.

In the 87th minute, Samuel Assimwe’s second header went past Prosper Academy’s custodian Nasser Kalulu hence giving Friends of Soccer a deserved consolation.

It was like a stone in a bee hive as Prosper Academy threw all bodies upfront to widen the scoring half but Patrick Oyuke’s late strike went narrowly wide hitting the side net.
