Marcus Aka and Junior Zaake were on target as Kataka FC registered a 2-1 victory in the FUFA Big League clash on Thursday evening.

The Mbale-based side has so far played six games, drawing once, losing twice and winning thrice.

The hosts had a perfect to the game after scoring in the first minute. Aka gave Kataka the lead after nodding home Stephen Namaisi’s long throw-in.

Zaake extended the host’s lead after tapping home steps away from the goal line. Kigezi HomeBoyz custodian James Tukei fumbled with Micheal Olinga’s powerful effort and Zaake thankfully took away the blessing.

Derrick Mudali decided to half the deficit as the visitors pulled one back thus giving the game life once again.

The second half had less action as the ball was kept in the middle park for most of the time.
