New York Red Bulls II Head Coach Ibrahim Sekagya is excited at the arrival of midfielder Ricardo Gorday. The former Uganda Cranes captain has spent the last two seasons playing for Tauro FC in Liga Panamena de Futbol, which is the top division of professional soccer in Panama. He has made 12 appearances for the club and scored one goal in the Liga Panamena Apertura on May 7, 2022, in a 3-0 win against Arabe Unido.
“We are very excited to add Ricardo to our roster for our first year in MLS Next Pro,” said New York Red Bulls II Head Coach Ibrahim Sekagya. “He is a talented midfielder that we will help to continue his development, we are excited to see him on the pitch this season.”
Gorday has represented Panama at the youth levels, including the U-17s and U-20s. He made his Panama U-20 debut on June 19, 2022, against Aruba U-20.
