  • KCCA vs Mbarara City - 7PM

Maroons captain David Ndihabwe says they are always confident whenever they are playing at home.

Maroons will be taking on Busoga United in the Uganda Premier League at Prison Grounds, Luzira on Thursday.

Ahead of the game, Ndihabwe believes they can capitalize on the home advantage and register maximum points against Busoga United.

“We always feel confident at home. It will not be an easy game because we are playing Busoga United, a side that is fighting relegation,” he stated.

“We expect a physical challenge but we have prepared well. The technical team has given us the necessary information and the mood in the camp is high ahead of the encounter,” he added.

“I am happy with the way we played our previous two games. We had a good win against Express and later picked a point against Mbarara City. So we hope to build from that and get better. I believe we have all it takes to win tomorrow.”

Maroons will be without Umar Kyabatala (injured) and Innocent Biyika (accumulation of cards) while goalkeeper Amir Nalugoda returns from the sick bay.

In the last five meetings between the boys, Maroons has won twice, Busoga United has won once and they have shared spoils twice.
