Uganda Tennis Association will continue its path of success after winning at least a medal in each team event at the 2023 ITF CAT Zonals Championships.

The milestone was new following just one team in the medal bracket in Kigali last year.

Jonah Ssentongo, Latif Ssendyowa and Cillian Ndilima carried Uganda Boys U-14 to bronze, Olivia Nalubuula, Hilder Afwoyoroth and to bronze as well in the Girls category.

Maggie Flavia Namaganda, Abigail Nabasinga and Edna Lovinsa Nabiryo delivered silver in the Girls' U-16 while- Troy Adrian Zziwa, Francis Derrick Agonzebwa and Nasser Ochom also replicated the same in the Boys' U-16.

The team was guided by coaches Edward Odockcen and John Oduke who helped the youngsters mastermind the performances.
